Hello all my beautiful peepz! I wanted to make a special announcement... Yesterday, I attended the inauguration of the bilingual university Ana G. Mendez! Times like this makes one feel very proud of their roots and being a Latino/Latina. I am very proud of the city of Dallas and feel like it is moving on up! This university will be spoken in both Spanish and English and offers a wide variety of degrees to any student. This just goes to show that it does not matter where you came from, it does not matter how much money you grew up with, it's about where you are going and who you want to be! Keep dreaming high my friends... I'll meet you all at the rainbow;)

Don't Feel Like Washing That Hair?
Hello my beautiful dawwwwlings! I hope everyone is having a magical holiday season and I can't believe Christmas is right right around the corner! First, I would like to announce that I finally graduated with my Bachelors degree from the University Of North Texas this past Saturday! I am so happy and well...I believe I can flyyyyyyy... ha ha ha!
Ok, so on another note... I have this fabulous secret that I recently tried out and fell in love with it! I know we all have those days where we don't feel like washing our hair and feel super lazy, well the key to making it not look dirty on those days is BABY POWDER! Yes, I said it...baby powder!
All you need to do is distribute it only on your roots and this will absorb the grease and moisture.
Go ahead and try it......You are welcome my friends!

Now, we all know there is bound to be things that might not go the way we planned such as family drama, your stuffing didn't come out the way you wanted it to and you find your hubby liking whatever your mama made Ha ha (Just kidding Baby!) Don't worry...this is all normal and just have fun during this special time!
Here are some cute ideas that I love for Thanksgiving...They are all very easy things to do and will not take you long at all!

These can all be found on Amazon, Etsy, sometimes Forever21 and Agaci. These are great accessories that will make you stand out at those holiday parties and events coming up!
1 Maxi Skirt + 1 Cute Crop Top= Fabulous
A style that I just can't get enough of is the beautiful combination of pairing a cool maxi skirt with a funky style crop top. This is a great outfit for a date or even a girl's night out. You can even throw a blazer on top and have a more classy look and then take it off for the more edgy look. It's all you hands my little pumpkins!
Neon Crop Top = H&M ($3)
Pink Maxi Skirt = H&M
Here are some others styles I found...

Buttons: Food For The Soul
Ok people, you know when the food is real good when you have to unbutton your top one from your slimming high waisted jeans! ha..Ok guilty!
They have the best soul food around where the skin on the chicken is so crispy that your heart melts after the first bite.
Not only do they have a very versatile menu, the restaurant is a beautifully dimmed atmosphere with R&B music playing softly and some nights they even have live music.
My husband definitely did a great job picking this place out for our date night.
Go get you some and you will be happilisicous ;).
